AS9100D compliance confirmed

DC BARS has adapted its Quality Management System to the requirements of AS9100D standard.

In December 2017 the QMS was audited for conformity to ISO9001:2015 и AS9100D by the Bureau Veritas Russia.

AS9100D compliance was confirmed by the audit results and the certificate of approval awarded to DC BARS.

Victor Melekhin

Oleg Kroutko (President) of DC Bars has decided to leave DC Bars as the leader of the company to pursue other opportunities. We all wish him the best in all his present and future endeavors!

On a more positive note, the VP of Engineering, Victor Melekhin, has agreed to assume the duties of the President of DC Bars.

We all congratulate Victor Melekhin on his new position and know that he will perform the duties of President as successfully as he has in his VP position at DC Bars.

DC BARS was recently awarded Platinum Premier Supplier status by Rockwell Collins for meeting the highest level of quality, delivery, and business alignment. These are the three measures of supplier performance assessed by its Trusted Supplier Program according to the performance thresholds that align with Rockwell Collins’ customer expectations.

This inspiring recognition of our capabilities promises expanding our relationships with Rockwell Collins continuing to be their trusted supplier for years ahead.

 

AEE 2016 and AERO expo visited

Victor Melekhin (VP Engineering) and two DC BARS engineers have visited the Aviation Electronics Europe 2016 expo in Munich, the annual platform for the international aviation electronics industry to learn, network and source new products and services. They have also visited the AERO expo in Friedrichshafen which is the international General Aviation community's annual meeting place with more than 600 exhibitors from 35 countries.

Such events are always a great opportunity to establish new contacts along with refreshing the old ones. Many of the recently started relationships between DC BARS and several prospect customers are deemed very promising.

 

DASC34 conference attended

A group of three engineers and managers have attended the 34th Digital Avionics Systems Conference in Prague. This year the conference theme was "Impact of Global Mandates on Avionics Research and Development" and it was focused on NextGen/SESAR avionics and Air Traffic Management. Plenary and technical sessions as well as tutorials were immensely helpful in keeping abreast of the latest industry trends.
